The main Sheriff’s Manual of Policies and Procedures is divided between policy sections and procedural sections. Policies are relatively short statements compelling or prohibiting certain actions. Procedural statements go into greater detail about how certain processes should be carried out. For the most complete understanding of a topic, please review both the policy and its identically numbered procedure.
