NO NOTARY SERVICES

Effective March 12, 2024, we have no Notary services available. If you request a Good Conduct Letter, we will not be able to notarize the signature. If you can provide your own Notary, please call us to make arrangements for the date and time we can meet. Our office number is 858-974-2020.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on July 14, 2023, the Concealed Weapons Permit (CCW) fees are increasing according to the Board of Supervisors directive from June 14, 2022. The fee schedule is shown below.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on June 14, 2022, the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Diego approved to amend County Ordinance Chapter 19 - Sheriff's Regulatory Fees Section 21.1901 of the San Diego County Code of Regulatory Ordinances, related to fees charged for services provided.

The new fees are effective as of July 14, 2022.

Please note, all fees are based on full cost recovery. Further, reviewing the fees every year will ensure our department maintains an acceptable revenue to properly and efficiently serve the public in a timely manner.

Fees can be paid by credit cards, cash, money order, certified check, or personal check if issued by a California bank. Please make checks payable to the "San Diego County Sheriff's Department." If paying by credit card, please note there is a $3.00 transaction fee for credit card payments. Cash and Debit cards ($2.50 transaction fee for debit cards) are accepted in person only.

PLEASE NOTE: Permitium charges a $5.00 convenience fee on every CCW transaction, regardless of payment type.
