The San Diego County Sheriff's Department Records & ID Division processes all arrest and booking records, identifies in-custody inmates, maintains all San Diego Sheriff crime and arrest reports, and maintains a county-wide repository of warrants and temporary restraining orders.

The division provides the following services:

• Crime, Arrest and Accident Report Information
• Local Criminal History Information
• Restraining Order Information
• Warrant Information

The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department does not provide live-scan fingerprinting for employment purposes. For the nearest Live Scan site to have fingerprints processed for employment and other purposes, visit the State Department of Justice website to find the location and hours of operation for the nearest facility that processes fingerprints for applicants.
