Nixle

The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department is a registered contributor to the Nixle® community notification service. The web-based service is a geographic-based public notification system available free of charge to residents of San Diego County.

You are invited to register by going to www.nixle.com.  You can also text your zip code to 888-777. Message and data rates may apply.

Nixle® emails and text messages serve as extra source of information regarding incidents that might impact your neighborhood.  Examples include evacuations during wildfires, search for a missing person, placement of a Sexually Violent Predator, warnings about sexual assaults, as well as community events. Click here to view our Nixle® page.

Nixle® does not replace official emergency phone calls, email and text notifications issued by AlertSanDiego during wildfires and other emergencies that might require evacuations or shelter in place instructions.
